What Are The Secrets To Relationships

What are the secrets to relationships?   If somebody really knew they would have made a fortune along time ago.  There are several ways to strengthen your relationship so that it lasts you both out.   They are nearly all just simple common sense, no doubt they bring back memories of how well you behaved when you started going out together and nobody can claim that they are secrets.

1.   Show your partner that you love them.  It is not enough just to say it; you must display your love and all the time.    If you doubt being really in love with your partner you certainly have a relationship problem.

2.  Where you don’t respect your partner there is little chance that the relationship will last.  It’s logical; there’s no point in continuing with them when you criticize their every move and treat them as an idiot.

3.  Politeness and kindness are just as important when you are alone together as when you are with people you don’t know and therefore pay attention so as not to offend them.

4.  Show thoughtfulness by taking into account your partner’s desires and needs as a priority.

5.  Always tell the truth to your partner, as lies, however small, are usually uncovered some time later.  If you avoid being deceitful you will never be caught out.

Call these the secrets to relationships, if you like.   We all know them but some of us find them more difficult to implement than others.

Where honesty is concerned always be open with your partner even when times are complicated.

Respect and kindness are inseparable.  Your partner has to feel your support. They need to know you support them because you support them.  Their decisions must be respected even if you would have done otherwise.  You can tell them discretely if there is a better way, so they will know for the next time. Differing does not mean you lack respect.

Thoughtfulness and love tend to partner each other as well.  Expression of love is important.  It can be verbal or by action in helping them.

Love is understood in different ways.   Doing little things because they please your partner is all part of love.   It is all part of showing your partner that you are thinking of them and you care or them.

When you assemble these points together and action them, perhaps you will have discovered what are the secrets to relationships that will make your partnership prosperous and happy…
